Pet Owner Devastated After Puppy Stolen in Armed Robbery

Washington, DC - Police are searching for a puppy that was stolen during an armed robbery in southeast DC on Friday night.

The victim, who has not been identified, was meeting with a potential buyer to sell the 8-week-old Toy Poodle puppy in the 3300 block of 14th Place SE. During the sale, two suspects approached the victim and one of them pulled out a gun. The suspects then took the puppy and fled the scene.

The puppy is described as a white Toy Poodle with brown spots. It weighs about 2 pounds and has a pink collar with a tag that says "Puppy."

Police are asking anyone with information about the robbery or the puppy's whereabouts to call (202) 727-9099 or text the tip line at 50411. MPD is offering a reward of up to $10,000 for any information that leads to an arrest and conviction in this case.

The victim is devastated by the loss of their puppy and is offering a reward of $500 for its safe return. They are also asking for the public's help in finding the suspects.

"I just want my puppy back," the victim said. "He's my little fur baby and I miss him so much."
